Hans Daiber, Ph.D. (1967) in Oriental Studies, University of Saarbrucken/Germany, is holder of the chair of Oriental Philology at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe-Universitat in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. He has extensively published, mainly in the field of Islamic philosophy, theology and science.
