The city of San Antonio honored Darryl for his accomplishments in economic development by naming a park after him - The Darryl W Lyons Park. He is also deeply engaged in non-profit work, including various leadership and board positions, and helping start a basketball ministry in Eastern Europe called Admirals Basketball Academy. Darryl earned a Master of Jurisprudence from Texas A&M Law School and has a bachelor's degree in accounting and finance from St. Mary's University.
