OverviewAs far as I am concerned about you, my brothers, I am convinced that you especially are abounding in the highest goodness, richly supplied with perfect knowledge and competent to counsel one another (Romans 15:14 Williams Translation). Biblical counseling may be defined as, the process of helping another person take the teachings and general principles of the Bible, and apply them to a specific situation in their lives. It is a ministry that everyone can have a part in. The whole body of Christ should counsel one another. Even though the Bible teaches that every believer should be able to counsel one another, how many can be said to be competent to counsel?
