Author Information

Malcolm V Lowe is a professional writer and historian who has studied the 1939–45 air war over northwest Europe for many years, specialising in Luftwaffe, RAF and USAAF air operations. He has amassed a substantial collection of original wartime material and photographs as a result of painstaking research, interviews and meetings with veterans or their families. Malcolm has written more than 20 books that have been critically acclaimed for their research and thorough coverage. His previous book for Osprey was Osprey Production Line to Frontline 5 – Fw 190. The illustrators for this volume are Gareth Hector (cover) and Jim Laurier (profiles).
