The book is intended both for those who believe in God as well as those who have no intention of ever getting religion, but who wonder why anyone in their right mind would and what that might look like from the inside. Soon after completing this book, and, ironically, deciding on the final cover design, the author was diagnosed with esophageal adenocarcinoma, which offers little hope for a successful course of treatment. He is content to leave the matter in God's hands, though he intends to fight to stay with the love of his life, his wife, Tetiana.
