She is a graduate of Harvard Law School and worked for four years as an attorney representing foster children in Manhattan Family Court. Paul Pitcoff was a documentary filmmaker and chair and professor of the department of communications at Adelphi University before he cofounded the Youth Advocacy Center, Inc.
