Dr. Tonya C. George is a Christian Wellness Advocate, author, and speaker. She has a Ph.D. in Public Health Epidemiology and is an NCCPA certified Physician Assistant. She created NoonieLand, LLC, as a platform to educate people on various aspects of health. Her goal is to inspire individuals to improve all dimensions of wellness and to reach their God-given potential. Tonya's mantra is Living Creatively, Loving Passionately, & Walking Purposefully. She believes in and encourages others to utilize their God-given talents, love others as Christ loves the church, and to live out God's purpose for their lives. Passionate about writing and creating wellness products, she enjoys writing poetic children's books that can build a strong Christian foundation. She also enjoys writing inspirational books and journals that focus on wellness and spirituality. She has published works in various medical journals and textbooks to include the Journal of Burn Care & Research, Expert Reviews of Respiratory Medicine, Journal of the American Academy of PAs, and Anaesthesiology Critical Care Board Review. Coming from a Trinidadian/Tobagonian and American background, Tonya is a Brooklyn, NY born transplant currently living in Texas. She lives with her son, who is her earthy inspiration to be her best and never give up! An avid lover of animals, she also lives with her two rescue dogs and Sun Conure.
