Aeloria, the Crown Princess of Teporsa, has led a privileged and sheltered life inside the stone walls of her parents' castle. She is destined to be Queen one day, a title for which she has never aspired. Aeloria dreams of a life of freedom, to do as she pleases. She does not wish to enter into an arranged marriage with a prince from a neighboring kingdom whom she has never met. Once she actually meets Prince Siegfried of the Lawekans, she is even more adamant that she does not wish to marry him. Escaping from her bedchamber after the meeting, she ventures to a beach where she meets a man who sweeps her off her feet. Could it be love at first sight?
