Author Information

After receiving her Ph.D. in Nutrition, Saroj Mehta-Bahl served as a faculty member at UT-Health Center for 43 years. During her tenure, she received teaching awards at the national and international levels. Saroj regards her career, her role as a mother of two great children, and her role as a wife to an amazingly loving husband as the foundation of her life. Still, she also made time for community service (serving as President of the Vivekananda Vedanta Society of Houston for eight years) and discovered a passion for art.She has always considered God to be her best friend.
