OverviewThis engaging text clearly presents essential concepts that teachers need to guide their students toward clearly intelligible pronunciation and more effective communication skills. Based on a sound theoretical background, the book presents practical, imaginative ways to teach and practice pronunciation that go beyond simple ""Repeat after me."" Recognizing that there is no one-size-fits-all answer for pronunciation teaching, this book offers insights for adapting teaching techniques to a range of students and teaching situations: children or adults, beginners or advanced students, and learners worldwide, whether in English-speaking countries or areas where students seldom hear English outside of class.
