Overview

Within the walls of the Blackwood Apartments, nothing is ever truly lost. It only waits for its turn in the dark. When Leslie's grandfather brings a small, cracked blue glass eye down from the depths of the attic, its cold glint awakens a long-forgotten horror within the concrete jungle of the housing estate. For Sofie, the ninth-floor hallway suddenly becomes a foreign, threatening place. A strange scratching echoes from the metallic throat of the trash chute, and a stench wafts from the vents that smells of no earthly decay. Something is watching from the shadows. Something that gathers its strength in the hidden corners of the building, and to which every discarded object is just another chance to return. Sofie soon realizes that the greatest danger isn't what she can see, but what is pulsing behind the walls and deep within the pipes. The rule is simple: don't listen to the noises, don't look into the abyss, and above all... beware what you trash! Because some things refuse to stay in the garbage.
