Overview

Mike has been Maria Rojas' Guardian Angel for twenty-two years. The day he rescues her from two criminals, he discovers his human past. With Between Heaven and Earth: Book 2 in The Angel Chronicles Series Lopez again delivers the top notch world building and character development that, we the readers, have come to expect from the author. The author delivers an action packed love story cloaked in a mystery. I can hardly wait to read more from the Angel Chronicles. I strongly encourage you, my fellow readers to get this book and read the timely message about faith included in this book. *Wayne* This is a good book and won't take more than an afternoon if that long to read. This is a romantic mystery book...*Ramona* This is primarily a romance between Maria and her guardian angel Mike. It also has aspects of a thriller/police procedural as they try to track down the killer and discover the truth of Mike's past but kind of felt more like a cozy at times. I thought it would be more natural for Mike to have paternal feelings for Maria, since he watched her grow up and all, but that was kind of explained by saying he experiences things much differently as a spirit VS in corporeal form. There were a few other plot points that required a bit of suspension of disbelief, but overall a much stronger, more coherent story than The Quest. Definitely an author with potential who is showing some growth. *Vine Voice*
