Overview

The class teacher is discussing facts about animals, but the protagonist, young Ezra, is more interested in their acts and starts to contemplate what it would feel like to be some of these animals. First, he turns into a cow and realizes he has no fingers or a hand, and then sees that his peers come in varying colors and have a strange way of sleeping and dreaming. Next, he sees several doors with each needing a key to open them and one that is opened already. He opts for the easy option and becomes a grasshopper that can perform unimaginable feat- like a human jumping a hundred feet. Afterward, he transforms into a hippo that is much bigger than his mum and then competes against a human in a race contest, in which he emerges victorious despite his massive body frame. Lastly, Ezra encounters Timmy the Toucan who has been observing him change from one animal to another. Timmy asks Ezra to narrate the crucial lessons he's learned so far which he does successfully. Ezra comes back to reality and recognizes that going to school to learn isn't that boring after all, and resolved within himself to learn more by gathering information and showing respect to everybody while having fun as well.
