Bethany Kennedy Scanlon, born March 21, 1975 in Houston, Texas, is an author/speaker who writes for the Christian genre. She writes under the pen name Bethany K. Scanlon. They married on July 7, 2001. Prior to living in New Orleans, Bethany lived in Ft. Walton Beach and Destin, Florida. Bethany Scanlon attended Ft. Walton Beach High School her senior year, graduating in 1994. She also lived for two years with her father and step family in a suburb of Chicago during her middle school years.
