She had published on German theater and literature and had worked with experimental theater groups producing original scripts. Her study of the chalk circle plays,Brechts Kreidekreis: Eine Interpretation, was one of the volumes chosen to commemorate the eightieth anniversary of Brecht’s birth. Hubert Heinen (Editor) HUBERT HEINEN is a professor emeritus of Germanic languages at the University of Texas at Austin.
