Overview

The city mountains in Bergen are well-known and widely used hiking areas with great variation in terrain and landscape. This map has taken this into account and covers a larger area than any previous map sheet. Of course, the classic 7-mountain tour has its own distinct signature. The 7-mountain tour has a length of around 35 km and a total of 2,400 metres. Here you get to know Bergen and the central Byfjellene through a fantastic and demanding tour. The Bergen & 7-mountain tour is published by Calazo in collaboration with Bergen and Hordaland Turlag. This is part of a modern map series where the terrain information is based on laser scanning from aircraft, which gives a great wealth of detail with an almost three-dimensional impression. The map includes all marked hiking routes, ski slopes, swimming areas and launch sites for kayaks and canoes in the entire coverage area, and is intended for year-round use.
