Dieselbe, so wie die von g ist am Au chenden in kleine schwarze Stucke zerfallen; im nnern besteht das Floetz aus einer Kohle, die vollkommen der nicht holzigen Braunkohle des Weaterwnldce gleicht; wie diese ist sie von brauner Farbe, horizontal spaltbar und bekommt vertikale Sprunge, an der Sonne wird sie hart und auf dem Bruche glanzend, nicht schmutzend und leicht zer broeckclnd. Da ich nur das Ausgehende und die kurzlich herabgesturzten Massen der Schicht 9 sah, der Fluss hatte das Floetz untem'aschen, so weiss ich nicht, ob fossiles Holz im Innern vorkommt.
