Overview

Torin Maddox is a jaeger - a hunter of the grotesqueries that infest the world of Bodan. When a kraken wreaks havoc along the coasts of Vastrune, Torin joins the hunting fleet to slay it, pursuing the beast to the far reaches of Hebiwa. On those distant shores, Torin unwittingly draws the gaze of the sinister Order of Divine Balance. The fleet returns victorious, but their glory is hollow. A curse begins picking off the survivors one by one. With the city under lockdown and descending into paranoia, Torin finds himself trapped. The gates are barred, the docks shut down, and the very kingdom he saved has become his cage. With the Order stalking him from the shadows, Torin must break the curse before it claims him - if the grotesqueries waiting beyond the walls don't tear him apart first.
