Author Information

Jodi-Maree is a retired doctor, medical manager and adult educator. She has dedicated her adult life to the service of others. After retiring from medicine, she developed a new passion, animal welfare and training. Spending the last eight years training Assistance Animals for individuals with life challenges, she has witnessed firsthand the power of the human-animal bond. She now enjoys a simpler life as an animal assisted play therapist and assistance dog trainer in Queensland, Australia. Her books are designed to help others face life challenges, support growth and strengthen human-animal relationships. Her qualifications include MBBS, BmBsc, Grad Cert CCPT, Dip Counselling, Cert 4 in Animal Behaviour and Assistance Dog Training, Cert III in Companion Animal Services, Student DipCAB (Clinical Animal Behaviour - Canine) through Canine Behaviour College UK, published author, Founder of Canine Integrative Relational Therapy. Cara Ord is an Australian illustrator and designer specialising in children's books with a great love of stories and an overactive imagination. She spends her time loving her two daughters and two furry dog babies in between her work in her creative career.
