Bella and the Kite is an illustrated French/English Bilingual book for learners of French. Bella is a young girl with an adventurous nature. When she receives a large kite from her uncle, she can't wait to use it. Waiting for the perfect windy day, she sets sail for a kite ride she hadn't planned on. Bella and the Kite is a bilingual French/English storybook that has been written for children, but also includes some challenging vocabulary and grammar for more advanced students, and so also appeals to adult learners. On each page there is a summary of all the more difficult/challenging words used.

Chris has studied law and European languages, he has attended Universities in England, France and Switzerland and has a Master's degree. The English text has been translated into French by Audrey Langlassé who has been running À la carte translations since 2007.
