The situation was so serious that Lábrea was given the name of a specific disease due to hepatitis B, the Black Fever of Lábrea. Therefore, the work presents a historical basis, with the theme related to the proliferation of hepatitis B in the municipality of Lábrea Amazonas, between 1985 and 1995.
