Belfast is the capital city of Northern Ireland and has been a major port and industrial city since the nineteenth century. Aidan Campbell is a retired business consultant who has published 11 local histories on areas of East Belfast since 2005. Aidan lives in East Belfast with his wife Christine and regularly gives illustrated talks to local churches, community groups and historical societies.
