Overview

The journey started in 2016 by Kimberly Davis continues in this new book. From her home in Georgia, she crosses the country in a 22-year-old motor home in search of new challenges. Although finishing the surgical transition was impossible in Georgia, fate led her to California where the surgery could be performed and was affordable. Meet the friends acquired who helped and encouraged Kimberly during this time. Follow along as she takes you into the operating room and discover how this surgery is performed. In Kimberly's case, because of complications from the first surgery, she had to go under the knife for a second attempt that was ultimately successful. As her time in California drew to an end, journey with Kimberly back to her home in Georgia. Kimberly had to deal with a son stricken with drug addiction and his untimely death by his own hand, followed closely by open heart surgery.
