Overview

This supplementary series of the ""Beilstein"" handbook covers the organic compounds reported in the literature from 1960 up to 1980. Volumes 20 to 22 cover heterocyclic compounds which contain a nitrogen atom as the only ring-heteroatom. Volume 22, which is divided into several sub-volumes, deals with nitrogen heterocycles bearing a large variety of functional groups. Subvolume 22/9 covers the mono-amines falling in the range CnH2n-4N2, starting with Pyridin-3-ylamine and continuing to CnH2n-6N2. The ring nitrogen atom and the functional group may be coupled with inorganic compounds or any organic compound described in volumes 1-22 in the ""Beilstein"" series.
