On a mid-summer night in July, the tranquil peace inside of a majestic nursing home facility was torn apart by screams of pain and horror; by blazing lights and blaring sirens that could be heard for miles around. They were headed for THE ELITE, a new assisted living nursing home that was transformed from a once-grand five-star hotel. A mass tragedy had just taken place; one that the likes of a small sleepy town that borders Brandy Oaks and Cleveland had never seen before and hoped they never would again. Jeff MacDonald, a police officer with a unique knack for hunches and truth, was one of the first on the bloody scene. A young woman in a blood-splattered uniform stood alone by the staircase. Jeff knew instinctively she would be the one. Jeff must find out what happened on this tragic night from her. As Jeff and his partner, Maxine Wells, sat with her at the police station for what they assumed would be a simple formality statement, a story of abuse, hate, deceit, madness and gruesome mass murders started to weave from the shocked, morose woman.
