OverviewThe book Before You Vote distinguishes the differences between a good and a bad political candidate. It pinpoints differences that lie behind unexposed hidden agendas and intentions. Good leaders are driven by good conscience, compassion, positivity, righteousness, a strong sense of justice, and their will to serve the nation. Bad leaders are guided by negative thoughts, greed, self-interests, cruel intentions, and the desire to serve themselves. Conclusively, a bad leader will incite evil, drive disharmony, rule corruptly, and prove to be a grave threat to stability and democracy. The book depicts street conversations and presents a clear perspective that will enable citizens to better assess their next leaders. A dictator's attitude is generally impulsive, sinister, unethical, lawless, ignorant, and arrogant, believing in no one except themselves. Our former President displayed this sociopathic disorder, and despite his lies, crony supporters, and corrupt ways, we voted him into office. Our crushing lesson from him should be that political lip service should never be mistaken for genuine concern. Therefore, it is vital to watch what Republican leaders do and less of what they say. Pay attention to those who proclaim to believe in democracy only to appease voters just for votes. After they get your check mark, it is then that they will establish a sham democratic system that will allow them to stay in power indefinitely. The USA is our country, and we, the citizens, must be proactive in protecting the nation from the vile and ravenous claws of a dangerous dictator, any dictator. Knives, guns, and bombs are no longer the sole weapon of defense for our freedoms and the constitution. We must now arm ourselves with civic education and political awareness and exercise our right to vote. We cannot afford to choose the wrong President again. 'Before You Vote' has stressed that if we make the wrong choice, we risk losing democracy which will have a rippling effect throughout the world. Thus, it is no longer just our rights that is of concern but the right of everyone across the globe.
