Author Information

Ralph Haeussler studied Archaeology and Ancient History in Frankfurt/Main and London. He took his M.A. in Archaeology and his Ph.D. at University College London in 1992 and 1997 respectively. He has worked as research assistant and lecturer at the Universities of London, Oxford and Osnabrück. His research focuses on issues of social and cultural change in Italy and the Roman empire. His current research focuses on religious developments in Gaul, Germany and Britain between the Iron Age and the Principate.
