Author Information

Niki is a counsellor and art therapist with a late autism diagnosis, whose lived experience continues to shape her work with depth and honesty. After years of unravelling and rebuilding, writing has become a way to trace the quieter shifts, the integration, the acceptance, and the steadying. This memoir grows from that place: reflective, grounded, and centred on what comes after survival. It speaks to those learning to inhabit themselves more fully, to choose relationships that fit, and to live gently in their own neurodivergent truth. Committed to inclusive, trauma-informed support, Niki feels privileged to walk alongside others as they make sense of their inner world. Creativity, authenticity, and nature remain her anchors. She lives in the hills, surrounded by trees and stillness.
