"Steven Alan Childress is a senior professor of law at Tulane and teaches its Louisiana Notary Law class. He earned his JD from Harvard and a PhD in Jurisprudence from Berkeley. He is the author of books on federal appeals, Justice Holmes, and legal ethics.
