"Dr. Michael Abaian works with Dr. Delaram Hanookai at Southland Dental Care in the greater Los Angeles area. Sometimes referred to as the ""engineer of the smile,"" Dr. Abaian has a background in engineering and biology, and completed his DDS at the University of Southern California (USC). Dr. Abaian continues to stay current with-and curious about-all the latest advances in dentistry techniques and technology. He takes courses with Dr. John Kois at the prestigious Kois Center that serves dentists around the globe. In addition, Dr. Abaian's passion for state-of-the-art dentistry advancements has led him to pursue expertise in fields such as Dental Implant Surgery Fundamentals and Details Advanced Site Development. He has also received extensive Advanced Training for Root Canals with Dr. Buccanen. Dr. Abaian's myriad other certifications include Invisalign(R) Certificates for Completion, as well as training in Oral Conscious Sedation. Dr. Abaian is a member of the California Dental Association (CDA), the American Dental Association (ADA), a member of the San Fernando Dental Society, the Academy of Restorative Dentistry (ARD), and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD).Helping his patients achieve optimal oral health is a dedicated passion for Dr. Abaian.
