Friedman, MD is nationally recognized as a leading expert and educator on laser and dermatologic surgery. He has been involved with the development of several new dermatologic laser systems and therapeutic techniques now commonly used throughout the world. Dr. Friedman is a board-certified and fellowship-trained Mohs and dermatologic laser surgeon. He was educated in dermatology at the New York University School of Medicine, one of the nation's top dermatology residency programs, where he served as Chief Resident. He serves as a clinical assistant professor at the University of Texas Medical School, Department of Dermatology and at theWeill Cornell Medical College, The Methodist Hospital. He is also on staff at Texas Children's Hospital and Memorial-Hermann Hospital. Currently the director of the DermSurgery Laser Center in Houston, he also has a practice in New York. Dr. Friedman has authored over 60 medical articles and book chapters.
