Author Information

Chen Keshi is a professor and doctoral supervisor at Peking University Director of Chinese Urban Design and Research Center, Peking University Chief designer of China Reconstruct Institute of Urban and Architecture Design Chen Keshi graduated from the School of Architecture, Tsinghua University in 1988 with a master's degree, and from the school of Social Science, Edinburgh University in 1994 with a doctor's degree. He is the planning advisers of several provincial and municipal governments, and also advisor of the people's government of Tibet Autonomous Region. He is a member of the Shenzhen International City Construction Consultancy Committee and the convener of Urban Planning and Design, and a member of the population resources and environment committee of Shenzhen CPPCC. Professor Chen Keshi is the chief designer of Shuimo Town in the post-disaster reconstruction project of Wenchuan, the senior designer of Zhuhai Opera House, and the chief designer of LuLang International Tourist Town, a major project of Guangdong Provincial Government. His works include Urban Design and Revitalization of Ancient Towns and A Green New Town of Wenchuan, etc.
