Beauregard's Brave Leap: Helping Children Overcome Anxiety

Overview

""An ideal tale for anxious youngsters."" Kirkus Reviews (starred review) Beauregard is a lovable cat who is enjoying a nap on the porch swing until his adventurous friend, Boy in Boots, invites him to splash in puddles! The idea of getting wet and muddy makes Beauregard nervous and scared. How can he join in the fun when his anxiety is so strong? In this heartwarming story, Beauregard learns how to face his fear with the help of the 3-3-3 rule: a simple technique that helps him calm his mind and take a deep breath before trying something new. As Beauregard pushes past his worries, he discovers just how brave he truly is. And when he finally splashes into the puddles, he feels proud and confident that he conquered his fear. Perfect for children ages 4-8, Beauregard's Brave Leap teaches young readers a valuable lesson about managing anxiety and finding courage in the face of challenges. This beautifully illustrated story encourages kids to face their fears, one splash at a time.
