Author Information

Cody Aufricht is a first-time author and long-time artist. He swam his way to a BA in Advertising from Texas Tech University and acquired an MBA from the University of Dallas. He built his career as a Chief Marketing Officer for several international software companies while raising his family on an urban hobby farm. Shortly after the children flew the coop, Cody retired from business and threw himself into varied creative pursuits. He studied under prominent Texas artists and combined his interests in nature, storytelling, and painting to capture the richness of his family's life with animals. ""Beatrice the Hairless and the Īpass Rescue"" takes place on the Aufricht homestead and includes the people and animals that grew up there. In his spare time, you'll find Cody in his painting studio, hiking in the mountains, or mucking horse stalls at his home in Southlake, Texas.
