Now in my 80's, I wrote this book in hopes the public and particularly young adults may have a better understanding and appreciation of what life Insurance can do for them and their family. I am qualified to author this book because I have perspective of the Life Insurance Profession far beyond the average agent. My experiences in the profession comes from four major levels: As Salesperson, General Agent, Branch Administrator and a Corporate Executive. At age 55 I was the first General Agent to be hired as a Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Transamerica Life Companies. It was in this capacity I learned how life Insurance policies were developed, marketed, and distributed. This experience gave me an inside look at the Life Insurance Profession and the belief that the general public is either confused or misinformed about the structure, the unique purpose and the true benefits of owning a Life Insurance Policy.
