Plant-based, professional baker Mike Sweetman began his baking career with a Saturday job back in the 1980s. Almost 15 years later, after a decade in corporate life, it was time to get back to something he loved, baking. After setting up his organic artisan bakery outside Cardiff in 2007, Mike moved his bakery to the forward-thinking, alternative city of Norwich in 2015 where he pioneered new plant-based baking methods to thousands of loyal customers. A detail-orientated baker with a passion for the why as much as the how, he loves nothing more than discovering new ways to replace animal products in baking, and sharing his techniques with a new generation of plant-based and curious bakers.
