He started the first marketing consulting company in India - MAS group - in 1975., after a successful career in the pharmaceutical industry for 14 years .He is an author of 12 books on management and marketing, a business columnist, and visiting professor at management institutes worldwide . He was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award for Consulting in 2005, and the LAA for Marketing in 2009 .
