Overview

Lieutenant Austin Naray hoped he would never have to set foot on the frozen lands of Aguret ever again. But fate has other plans for him. It is the dawn of a new galactic war. The NAC, seeking to claim Legacy territory, strikes hard and fast with a campaign that puts several planets on the border at risk. One of those planets is Aguret. After the success of a risky mission to disable an enemy warship, Lieutenant Naray and several other members of his strike team are forced to crash-land on Aguret's northern continent. There, they find that the organisms released from Death Cavern have migrated far and wide-including another Yeti, equally as powerful and bloodthirsty as the one Naray encountered at Outpost Four. Things go from bad to worse as a new threat reveals itself. Awakened by the crash of the NAC warship, a dormant legion of arachnoid creatures emerges from the mountainside. Working as one hive mind, they slaughter everything in their path in their search for new grounds to establish their hive. Uniting with a group of unlikely allies, Naray races against time to fortify their defenses and signal a rescue ship, all while enduring the wrath of the Beast of Death Cavern, and fending off the invading Legion.
