Charles Jones was a young Marine Platoon Commander and Dinh Viet Luc was in the North Vietnamese Army. Each artist created ten woodcut or linoleum plates and wrote of their experiences. It is 13 by 9 1/2 inches and numbers eighty-six pages of text with 20 original print-images on Zerkell Book and handmade Vietnamese Bamboo papers. It was printed and quarter bound with Hartaman leather and Japanese silk book cloth over boards, and is housed in a Japanese silk cloth covered clam shell box.
