Author Information

Charles Constant's professional storytelling career began at the age of thirteen, when he became an Actor's Equity Association apprentice. After training in Chicago and London, Charles has gone on to appear onstage in theaters across the country. Now living in Los Angeles, he can occasionally be seen on television and in film. Roger J. Lederer has taught ornithology and ecology courses, consulted for governmental agencies, environmental organizations and schools, and presented hundreds of public presentations to a wide variety of audiences. Lederer served as Chair of Biological Sciences, Dean of the College of Natural Sciences, Endowed Professor of Environmental Literacy, and Director of a 4000 acre ecological reserve. He has been contacted by BBC, National Geographic, National Public Radio, National Canadian Television, Vanity Fair Magazine, The Guinness Book of World Records, Real Simple Magazine, the Detroit Free Press, Voice of America, Fox TV, ABC News, Conde Nast Magazine, and many other organizations and individuals for authoritative information on wild birds via his popular website, Ornithology.com. Since 2000, Lederer has been a guest speaker on over twenty cruises, speaking on the flora, fauna, ecology and environment of the cruise destinations.
