Author Information

J.B. Wood started his professional gunsmithing career in 1947, when he serviced seven gunshops in northern Kentucky and southern Indiana. His first gunsmithing book, Gunsmithing Tricks of the Trade, appeared in 1978 and was followed by 27 other firearms-related books. Since 1975, JB Wood has been active as a professional firearms technical expert, providing forensic testimony for more than 300 court cases.
