Overview

If Exodus was about the steps God took to come down to His people (first to rescue them from Pharoah and then to dwell with them in the Tabernacle), Leviticus is about the steps God commands in order for His people to come up to Him, to step into His Divine presence, which now abides with them in the Holy Tent. This verse by verse commentary digs into the entire text of an oft-underappreciated book, and helps the reader see how the principles behind many of those laws remain relevant, and how the numerous allusions to the coming Messiah-through whose perfect sin offering on the Cross our salvation is achieved-make this a book more than worthy of our consideration today.
