OverviewAll children struggle at times managing their big emotions. Be With Me follows the story of Echidna, as he tries to work through his big feelings. Sometimes he wakes feeling confident and happy, but other days he wakes feeling cross and grumpy. Sometimes something has happened to make him feel this way, but other days, it is just a feeling that is hanging over him. He tries to make things better, but this is hard on his own and he worries that there may be something wrong with him. Gradually he learns that sharing big feelings with another, and being listened to and supported to talk about what is going on, helps to make him feel better again. Very clever that it is written in the form of a children's book but is written as a way to educate the parents. My wife came up to me and had read it first, she said she loved it!"" Parent ""This book made me tear up as I remembered being a child unable to express my feelings just like Echidna and wanting someone to be with me. I am looking forward to sharing with my grandchildren and also just being with them when Cross and Grumpy visit."" Grandparent ""An amazing book. A must have"" Psychologist ""Thank you, Lorren for creating this beautifully written and illustrated resource, based on PACE principles, helping parents to support their children in understanding and organising their emotions. I love it!""
