Overview

KI SUNG KIM is a Korean American. He got discharged in honor from the Rep. of Korea Marine Corps and got ordained in the Methodist Church of Norway in 1983. He has pastored a few Norwegian-speaking congregations in Norway and a few Caucasian congregations (UMC) in Wisconsin. He served on the pastoral staff of Stanford University Church for a few years and as a campus minister for over nine years, a total of over twelve years as a chaplain at Stanford. Kim smuggled thousands of Bibles into all Communist countries in Asia and Europe except two countries and preached God's Word in those countries from 1987 to 1992. He preached in several hundred churches in about forty different countries. Rev. Kim is scheduled to serve a UMC congregation in California as its lead pastor from July 2025.
