Overview

This book was written in honor of my sweet, loving, and kind son, Hayden Stacey. You may notice that the illustrator of this book is Hayden Stacey. Hayden was a very active child. He had a hard time in school with the sedentary expectations and, as a result, was not treated as kindly as he should have been in a school setting by teachers and peers. I made the decision to homeschool Hayden and, through our homeschool journey, realized that he had many amazing talents that weren't being tapped into. Hayden could dance, create elaborate Lego constructions, and the biggest realization of talent was his art skills. Hayden tapped into his creative side, and it made all the difference in the world for him. Hayden was diagnosed with ADHD at the age of eight, and we worked on helping him navigate this difficult diagnosis. As you can see, he has become an amazing artist and learner. He graduated from California Baptist University with honors in graphic design and is now helping me make my dreams of being a children's book author come to life. This is the third book that Hayden has illustrated for me. He has also illustrated My Heart Is Your Home and Truly Fly. Hayden has a wonderful world of opportunity awaiting him. He inspires me every day that I can do hard things. I can't wait to see what other remarkable things he will accomplish in his beautiful life.
