Author InformationNelda Stidham-Woodruff was born in New Orleans in the 1950s into a military family. For the first thirteen years of her life, she lived all over the United States and even spent a few years in Japan and the Philippines as well. While Nelda has had many jobs throughout her life, her absolute favorite remains hunting alligators and crawfishing with her mama.
