Overview

Many people have bought at least one car, new or used, that turned out to be a lemon. However, few people have bought their first six cars that turned out to be garbage within a matter of months or years. Basic Transportation features many humorous incidents involving misfortune with almost all of the vehicles described in this book which did not seem so funny to the author at the time. Basic Transportation presents a reflection of the trials and tribulations of the author sinking money into various 20th century vehicles, most of which could have been worse, were it not for help and advice from friendly mechanics. This book is rated R for language (mostly directed at cars described in the book).
