OverviewFilled with detail not often found in coverage of the chemistry involved with transition metals, this clearly written resource encourages enhanced interest in the study of organometallic chemistry. Among a wealth of topics it covers the 18 Valence Electron Rule, unique reactions in organometallic chemistry, bioorganometallic chemistry, relevant ligands, bonding, structures, and a variety of other reactions, processes, and applications essential to understanding this highly complex field. The text includes figures, equations, and a large number of problems and exercises at the end of each chapter.
