Author Information

Maurice de Sausmarez (1915-1969) was Head of the Department of Fine Art at the University of Leeds, later Head of Fine Art at Hornsey College of Art, and then Principal of the Byam Shaw School of Drawing and Painting in London. His own work is known and collected internationally.
