OverviewThis is the unvarnished, often humorous, memoir of a pilot who served in the Royal New Zealand Air Force for 43 years. It is the story of an officer who occasionally fell foul of military justice, who survived four aircraft accidents, and who struggled at times with the way the organisation he was passionate about treated people. It is a story of ordinary people doing extraordinary things, and of lessons learned, sometimes slowly and often at significant cost. If you have an interest in military aviation or leadership, this book is for you.
